Hi, I'm Jessica.
I'm a queer full-spectrum doula in Chicago.
(and art historian, and researcher, and photographer, and writer, and educator, and calligrapher, and animal-lover, and beginner banjo-player, and chronic-pain-haver, and big sister, and daughter of parents who tried their best)
I made Soft Spaces for me, as I imagined somewhere that could encompass all these identities and where I could move slowly, close to the ground, and wholly held.
And I made it for you, your families, and your babies, new to the world and glowing and needing and already loving hard.

Care that honors your knowledge, your body, and your story.
I am a Certified Postpartum Doula through DONA International and a Certified Birth Justice Doula through Sokana Collective. I offer affirming, evidence-based support across pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond.
